The cell is the basic unit of living organisms. Cells accomplish all the activities and produce all the components of the body. They carry out metabolism, the sum of all the body’s physical and chemical activities. They provide the energy for metabolic reactions in the form of the chemical adenosine triphosphate (ATP), commonly described as the energy compound of the cell. The main categories of organic compounds contained in cells are:

A.Proteins, which include the enzymes, some hormones, and structural materials.

B.Carbohydrates, which include sugars and starches. The main carbohydrate is the sugar glucose, which circulates in the blood to provide energy for the cells.

C.Lipids, which include fats. Some hormones are derived from lipids, and adipose (fat) tissue is designed to store lipids

細胞是生物體的基本單位，細胞完成機體的所有活動，產(chǎn)生機體的所有成分。它們進行新陳代謝，是身體所有物理和化學活動的總和。它們以化學物質(zhì)三磷酸腺苷（ATP）的形式為代謝反應提供能量，通常被稱為細胞的能量化合物。細胞中所含的有機化合物主要有：

A.蛋白質(zhì)，包括酶、一些激素和結構材料

B.碳水化合物，包括糖和淀粉。主要的碳水化合物是葡萄糖，它在血液中循環(huán)，為細胞提供能量。

C.脂質(zhì)，包括脂肪。有些激素來源于脂質(zhì)，脂肪組織被設計用來儲存脂質(zhì)
