Since its establishment in 1998, WaferTech has not only strived for the highest achievements in its core business of dedicated IC foundry services, but has also actively developed positive relationships with all stakeholders, including employees, shareholders, customers, subsidiaries, joint ventures, suppliers, outsourcing contractors, and society to fulfill its responsibility as a corporate citizen and pursue a sustainable future.

Vision

To pursue zero incidents, establish an optimal safe and healthy workplace, promote environmental sustainability, and be a world-class company in safety, health and environmental protection management as well as energy and other resource conservation.

Deeply instill a people-oriented safety culture and establish an intrinsically safe working environment

?Promote employee health and work/life balance

?Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to reduce safety and health risks and environmental impacts of product life cycle

?Continue to promote green fab, green manufacturing, green supply chain, and managing environmental risks

?Pursue the highest consumption efficiency of energy, water and other resources, and actively engage in waste reduction and pollution prevention

Guiding Principles

?Meet or surpass international regulations and standards governing safety, health, and environmental protection as well as efficiency and consumption of energy and other resources

?Stay abreast of global safety, health, and climate change trends, evaluate risks and opportunities, invite workers or their representatives for consultation and participation, and establish a healthy working environment while investing resources to effectively manage energy savings and water conservation

?Continually improve intrinsic safety of designs, adopt rigorous safety and health control measures, prevent occupational injuries and diseases, and promote employee safety and mental health

?Proactively collaborate with customers, suppliers, and outsourcing contractors to work together towards upgrading supply chain safety and health performance

?Continually improve awareness and sense of accountability towards safety, health, environmental protection, and climate change for all employees, subsidiaries, and joint ventures

?Adopt environmentally-friendly actions, continually improve performance of energy and resource consumption, waste management and pollution control, as well as proactively collaborate with customers, suppliers, and outsourcing contractors to build up a green supply chain for the semiconductor industry from design and manufacturing to products and services

?Share safety, health and environmental expertise and experience to collaborate with business partners, industry, government, academia, and all of society to build a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace while addressing the challenges of environmental protection and climate change
